
The event which was held at PATH Yorkshire was a success,
with attendees from various partners including Employment Leeds,
Leeds College of Building, Leeds City College, and JHP Training.
There was a large number of trainees who attended on the day and
were able to engage with the various support networks available to
them. The Lord Mayor in his
speech emphasised the importance of the work being done
in the community by PATH Yorkshire to help disadvantaged young
people find work an build their confidence in the difficult
economic times.
Natasha who attend the event said " I found the event
useful enjoyable and fun. I found out about the support networks
and courses available to me in my local area."
The project is spread over three years and will engage 150
trainees aged 18 - 24 during that period.
